Things They Don't Bring Up On FOX

In order to keep all their followers madder-than-hell (I hesitate to use the term "low information viewers" since they HAVE the information, they just pretend it's wrong...). Rogers Ailes' network doesn't bring up the following facts:

The deficit has been decreasing:

Deficit as percent of GDP

And of course the NRA's favorite: we all need guns:
.........because, armed killers......

The Left's unholy alliance with Hollywood:
For pete's sake, conservatives, you all are the ones that voted for a movie star for president! Talk about a "boosterization" (Thanks, O'Reilly) from Tinsel Town itself.....
Laura Bush did not present, but she did appear in a video short about movies by Errol Morris in 2002 that aired at the Academy Awards, and during his presidency Ronald Reagan pre-taped remarks for the 1981 Academy Awards.
You know, that president who was also a member of the Screen Actors Guild (gasp, a UNION) and once its president.

One Other Thing...

"And if the president doesn't do this, (give the Repubs everything they want) Obama is, .... responsible for Republicans' opposition to a bipartisan agreement......This is more than crazy. The media establishment's incompetence is having a direct role in contributing to a broken and unconstructive process."

Ignorance or Memory Loss?

A former presidential candidate, Herman Cain, went on television complaining that the majority of people who voted for Obama were "severely ignorant." (Hey, who actually ran the full campaign, and won....TWICE?)

Now folks on the Right are hoping these same people, the "ignorant ones", and those faithful followers of FOX NEWS (who we KNOW have short memories) are distraught enough....and VERY SCARED.....to blame President Obama for the precarious position (their term) in which this country finds itself. The Sequester or #Obamaquester according to that ol' jokester John Boehner.

Except for one tiny, minor, little, miniscule thing:

Oh......never mind.

UPDATE
Not to be left behind, and to present the "facts" to the dwindling number of self-admitted Repubs out there who believe their blame-game, the RNC has posted their own video regarding the #Obamaquester. There's just one problem:

Obama Is a Big Ol' Meanie

The White Press Corps is off it's collective rocker. They are pissed because the president wants to have some "private time"...and I don't mean photo ops of chopping wood or clearing brush on his make-believe ranch. Playing golf with Tiger Woods over a weekend, while the REST of Congress is on a 10 day break (There's NOTHING pressing they should be discussing in DC, you see.

"President Barack Obama played a round of golf with Tiger Woods on Sunday, but nobody knew about it until a lone tweet from a golf reporter went live. And now, the White House Press Corps Association has lodged a complaint against the administration, bemoaning the transparency afforded to pool reporters."
http://www.balloon-juice.com/2013/02/19/paper-tiger/

"President says his door is open, but he's spent more time in 2013 with Tiger Woods than with all congressional Republicans," said Doug Heye, a spokesman for House Republican leader Eric Cantor, on Twitter"

They are whining that they don't have access, he won't talk to them, blah, blah, blah.

"Obama gives frequent interviews (an astonishing 674 in his first term, compared with 217 for President George W. Bush), but ..."

There is also the deep psychological analysis of WHY President Obama is the way he is...there MUST be something wrong that HE is not "reaching across the aisle" to work with the GOPs in Congress. (Mika, does get in a few points below though.)

I don't know about you, but if I presented ideas, tried to be "bipartisan", and got my hand chopped off every time......I'd quit doing it. I realize in the political  arena it is close to impossible....but I must be a lot like the president: I've often said it means more to me to be respected than well liked....and I imagine for the first Black President of the United States it's a tough call.
