It just doesn't stop....the one-sided denigration and nonstop piling on by the media. Everybody seems to be Monday-morning-quarter-backing on Ms. Deen's downfall from grace.

Does anybody ever check background or do research? Are people aware that this lawsuit was filed, preliminarily investigated, and answer filed a YEAR ago? They are simply waiting for a hearing. Yes, I know a new filing was just made....but that is an addition to what's already in court. NOBODY has every mentioned that. Very convenient that it has made the front pages NOW, with a civil rights ruling....
.." Jan. 31 demand letter written on behalf of Jackson by her lawyer threatening to expose the “racist and sexist culture of (Paula Deen’s) corporate and personal life is going to permanently and irreparably damage her brand” accompanied by a $1 million settlement demand."
What a bunch of hypocrites we are as a whole....some one is being castigated for telling the truth. Yet we expect truth from our politicians, religious leaders, government, neighbors, family members, the media......and don't get it and we keep voting for them anyway. That, we can excuse. But when someone works for decades to make something from nothing (you Right Wingers love that) and is a success....we love to "bring 'em down." Her "can do it myself" approach left her ill-prepared for the outpouring of hate, mocking, and reproach she received from people that used her for monetary gain over the years.
Maybe, after the hearing Ms. Deen will be shown to be a horrible person, undeserving of all that she has made. Maybe she deserves that....but if you don't know all the background, how do you know what the media is pushing is the truth?
Moreover, the Jackson lawsuit itself is the least of Deen's worries at this point. The scandal that ensued has already cost her far more than any court judgment could.
