When the Tea Party has a few hundred people meet in a "protest the Kenyan America-hating black guy for president" rally the entire media world is in attendance. FOX does their blow-by-blow coverage. They also host events for the GOP in their off time.

When the largest protest in the history of NYC, and the country, is held to draw attention to climate change, global warming, and what we can do NOW to ensure the future of our planet………NADA, not one word. The ralliers made sure Wall Street heard it, too. And this was a protest heard around the globe….NOT just in this country.

A look at NBC's website revealed….nothing. Same with CBS. CNN had this blurb along the side:

• Climate activists take on Wall Street
• New video of WH fence-jumper

The Koch Brothers are doing their best, I'm sure, to make sure that this "little incident" gets no coverage….but probably a lot of arrests, if they can manage it. But how can you subdue the entire world?? Do they have that much money?? At least the Rockefeller Foundation along with some others, are divesting from fossil fuels and going for other alternative energy sources. (I know, it will barely make a dent in their portfolio, but it's the thought.)

I know there are those on the Right that believe everything is God's will (and the Christian God only)…..but I believe God gave us brains and sense of stewardship to figure out out to protect this planet. He didn't make us all idiots. Of course, intelligent people can also research for themselves.

Getting Frustrated …...

………and bored with the negative media push about the Healthcare Exchanges? I know I am. Don't know which is worse: the complete omission of all the facts concerning the law or the constant parade of "horror stories" on cable networks  like FOX, CBS, or CNN from people who "had insurance cancelled and now must pay 1000 times more for coverage." Then upon further investigation, it is proven that these people either did not go online and check, did not do it correctly, or as with my daughter's family, they make too much money for subsidies. (Or in one case, was a former Repub candidate for political office. ) Even John Boehner's getting into the act tweeting his outrage over the fact that "a separate policy must be purchased for a baby" even though he knew damn well that that was not true. His correction: crickets.
