You gotta love the inventiveness (is that really a word?) of the Republicans.
In order to gain…and keep…..control of all political power in this country, you have to really be on your toes.

First, there's making sure that all the districts vote for the right party (yours).

Then you make sure not everyone gets to vote…just those you want.

Slowly offend and cut off all those 'objectionable" folks you don't really want in your party…even if they are white. Family Values, dontcha know...

Always be the first one out of the gate with the outrage-of-the-day. It can get real tricky trying to keep the base riled up without offending a large portion of it.
Sometimes it is too obvious

"……..the Republican side who have flip-flopped — flip-flopped in the most craven way." (Juan Williams on the Bergdahl exchange)

THEN…there is out and out old-fashioned bribery.
"The Washington Post is reporting that Republicans offered to move Democratic state Sen. Phillip P. Puckett and his daughter into prestigious jobs in exchange for Puckett's resignation, which will flip the chamber into Republican hands. Pucket will officially accept the offer on Monday, the paper reported."

(And I don't have nice words for the fellow who's accepting this, if that is what he decides.)

I know….governing a nation can be a dirty business  And the Repubs are proving they are the ones for the job.
